Splitting that signal as simply as possible.
I made this out of a desire to use more than one amp at a time, and to be able to make that split arbitrarily within my signal chain, with no power required, no bells, no whistles.
Despite my intentions for it, it can also be used as two inputs and one output. The inputs will interact with each other in this configuration—this means if you connect two instruments and turn on off, they will both turn off. It can interesting to use a different input’s tone control to influence the other input, but this isn’t generally what people what out of a mixer.
Y follows a general layout, each one is a different design, finishes will vary. Hand built in Oxford, Ohio.
